How long did you lose taste and smell for?

Just that really. DH (who was completely asymptomatic) and I have both lost taste and smell. If you had this, how long before it returned?

Your DH isn’t asymptotic if he’s lost his smell and taste btw

Mine disappeared so I tested and was positive. It came back about 2 weeks after.

I had covid early July 2021 and nothing smells what it should do 😫 everything either smells of smoke or chemicals or the weirdest one is what I have 99% of the time is the fresh chicken and sweetcorn soup you get from sainsburys. Although I don’t actually know if that even really tastes of what I taste as I’ve only tried it after I lost my smell and taste. I hate cooking and eating now as everything tastes the same.
