Going to visit elderly relatives on Friday, so in anticipation the only places I have been in the last ten days are to pick up a click and collect shop in a car park and to a Yoga class a week ago where there were six people in a massive village hall, all well spaced and the door open. Everyone wearing a mask until we actually started.

Did a precautionery lateral flow this morning - positive result!! Allbeit very faint. Just how? Have been for a PCR so waiting to see what that brings.

Fully jabbed and boosted two weeks - so just how?

How my relatives who have worked in retail all through this have avoided it, I just don't know.

Hangs in the air a long time so could be toddler group of avtivity in hall first

I suppose it must have been Yoga although everyone there lives in the village and I'm sure if someone had tested a confirmed PCR positive they would have let the rest of the class know.

Firstly, it could be a false positive. Secondly, they could be asymptomatic so haven't tested and therefore don't know they have it.

How often do you do LFTs? It’s possible that you’ve had it for a while asymptomatically, so before you started isolating more. Could even have been from the booster appointment

I got mine from my booster appointment which is a sick joke really, could be you did same

Your lft could be a false positive and dh lft could be a false negative.

Well aware that jabbed people can spread covid. I'm just amazed that I could catch it with 6 people spaced out in a room which can seat 150 people and the doors were open letting in plenty of fresh air. If I was in a crowded cinema I could have understood it.

But there you go.

DH hasn't been anywhere, apart from his shed, so it was defintely somewhere I have been.

Result back 5.06 this morning - Negative.

If it is covid, then it will be the yoga class, unfortunately I'm seeing friends in the yoga & alt healthcare community coming out as rabid antivaxxers & even covid deniers. It's scarily rife. There's even articles written about the phenomenon. So unfortunately I wouldn't trust the teacher or any of the other participants to be as covid safe as you'd expect
