Good. I hope there will be a good take up.

Wingingit15 · 20/11/2021 18:59

When was your 2nd jab? It says I’m not eligible

Chasingsquirrels · 20/11/2021 19:00

You have to be 5 months after your 2nd and should then be able to book from 6 months.
I booked mine this morning but 1st available date was 6m & 2 weeks.

namechangedyetagain · 20/11/2021 19:03

Mine also says not eligible. 2nd jab was end of June so should be ok?

RelentlessForwardProgress · 20/11/2021 19:09

My second jab was 14th June and it offered me dates for booster from December 13th onwards

Thank you very much. Jab booked for 6 months and 2 days. I'm keen to get it done.

HippyDays · 20/11/2021 19:23

Thank you OP, I have just booked. In my 40’s second dose was in March. The reason I had it early is no longer valid so this is great news.

Timescale · 20/11/2021 19:38

Still says my DP isn’t eligible

megletthesecond · 20/11/2021 19:41

Mine isn't eligible yet. My actual 6 month date is 28th Dec so I assume I'll be on the booking system from 29th Nov.

MaggieFS · 20/11/2021 19:47

Oh hooray! I'm not quite five months yet but this is good news.

CheeseMmmm · 20/11/2021 19:49

Do you get a text or anything from NHS or GP to remind/ prompt?

DaisyWaldron · 20/11/2021 19:52

Is it 152 days after the second dose that you can book? That takes me up to 3 December, so I suspect my actual vaccine will be in early January. This is all reminding me of the stress of getting that first dose, when everyone I knew in London seemed to be getting vaccines even if they were 5 years younger than me, and I had to wait another 2 months for mine.

CarrieBlue · 20/11/2021 19:57

Just booked DH, his 2nd was June 13th, booster booked for December 12th. I’ll book mine in a fortnight Grin

ExcaliburBaby · 20/11/2021 20:32

Thanks - just booked mine. First date I was offered was actually 180 days rather than 182 but don’t suppose that matters!

PaddingtonPaddington · 20/11/2021 20:44

Thanks I’m booked in

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 20/11/2021 20:46

You have to be 6 months past your 2nd vaccine-a friend tried when they were 5 days shy and although she has booked, was still sent away

walksen · 20/11/2021 20:56

Thanks op. My 2nd jab was 9th may but was no longer eligible due to asthma criteria changes. Managed to book for tomorrow.

Delatron · 20/11/2021 21:02

Thanks for this. I was waiting until Monday but just tried now. To be fair it only gave me appointments after my 6 month date but I have it all booked in at the ocal centre and a convenient time. Loads of appointments available.

Delatron · 20/11/2021 21:02

Local!

Ilikejamdonuts · 20/11/2021 21:03

Thank you, just booked in for next week.

Larryyourwaiter · 20/11/2021 21:10

It’s offered me Christmas Eve - no thanks! (I reacted badly both times before).

Grinchtastic · 20/11/2021 21:22

Anyone heard of boosters being given to 39 year olds who turn up, perhaps at the end of the day?

I’m 6 months past my second dose and really really would like a booster...

Purpletomato · 20/11/2021 21:22

Thank you, just booked mine. 10 days after I pass 6 months and a clear week before Christmas.

EasterIssland · 20/11/2021 21:44

Just booked for husband. He is 5m tomorrow. Dates from 20nd dec on but we’ve booked after Xmas
