Is everyone PCR testing for cold symptoms?

I wouldn't have done PCR tests but would do LFT as they are readily available.

It was the LFT that initially picked up all our household cases and we were all presenting cold symptoms rather than the 3 symptoms required for a PCR. Without the LFT, wouldn't have thought about getting a PCR as I assumed we all had a cold.

I don’t lie I just tick the box saying Zoe told me to get a test.
We do have some outside commitments- DS has school and I work 2 days (healthcare). DH WFH. You don’t have to SI if Zoe tells you to get a test not for the big 3 symptoms though.

We've all had a "cold" for the past week. I was pinged and asked to get e PCR as a close contact and it turns out I have covid and so does DS.

We did. Thankfully negative but we had every symptom known to man
