What were symptoms in your secondary school kids

If your secondary school child has tested positive what were their symptoms?
DD14 has a headache sore throat and no smell or taste. PCR done at 9.30 this morning so just waiting for results

Tired, loss of taste and smell.

DS aged 11 has a very very mild cough and very very mild sniffles. Otherwise no symptoms at all. Two LFTs positive yesterday, waiting on PCR test.

Exactly the same, slight sore throat and mild headache then loss of smell/taste a few days later. The smell/taste thing is a dead giveaway to it being covid imo.

None at all, we picked it up on routine lft testing last Weds night. He subsequently had 2 days of a slightly runny nose and eyes on Fri & Sat - utterly bog standard very mild cold symptoms. And he has been very tired for the duration. If we weren't routine testing we would never have picked it up it was that unremarkable.

feeling off generally achy and tired then a sore throat few days later then loss of smell and taste which still hasn't returned 2 months later. Positive lateral flow on 1st day of bad sore throat confirmed with pcr

oh and a headache too and sore eyes

DS12.

Picked up on routine LFT (confirmed by PCR). No symptoms until a couple of days later when he got high temperature, body aches, headache, vomiting, then blocked nose in roughly that order. Tired throughout. Was feeling pretty much fine by the time his isolation ended but still not quite right about 4 weeks on. Eyes red and bloodshot and frequent headaches that make him feel sick. Had to pick him up from school at lunchtime today for this reason.

Age 13. Sniffle for 2 days. (Had been vaccinated with Pfizer).

Ds16 coughed a couple of times and had a very minor headache. He’d had one jab.
Ds13 was quite poorly, dreadful cough, incredibly tired and didn’t get out of bed for 12 days, sore throat, headache, blocked nose.

Mild cough. Snotty nose.

Bit sniffly, headache, sore throat, tired. Lost taste and smell on day 4

Headache and feeling a bit hot ( but temperature only 37.6). Then sniffles and a sore nose. Total about 3 days very mild illness.

Tired, sore throat, headache that wouldn’t go with painkillers. He was 3 weeks post vaccination. Tiredness lasted 3 weeks, if not slightly longer.

Cheeks were a bit flushed but nothing else. He only did a test because his friend had tested positive, I didn't believe him when the LFT was positive (did PCR after).

Before testing, sore throat, headache and general cold symptoms. On the day of testing these got worse and she developed a high temp and a cough.

Aching back, temperature, nausea, shivers, headache

Achy and a bit snotty and felt grotty

Month on and we've just realised she can't smell the dog farting . All other taste and smell seems intact !

Mine didn't tell me about sore throat but the cough gave it away

DS12 blew his nose a couple of times. Vaccinated though, which probably made it even milder than it would have been. Would never have picked it up without routine testing.

Nausea, feeling hot and head achey but it only lasted 2 days then she was fine. Was unvaccinated at this point.

Negative lfd in morning and fine. Came home with a cough (mild) did lfd was positive. Temperature of 40 overnight. Coughing and reaching. Has lost all sense of smell and taste. 5 positive lfd and awaiting a PCR. Without a shadow of a doubt she has it - I tested positive on Friday

Tired, achy, sore eyes & ears & a headache.

Both had sore throats.
That was the only symptom for DD.
DS got a flu-like illness for about a week - tired, aching, headache, loss of smell and taste.

Throwing up and Covid toes (blisters on their toes).

Wouldn't have thought it was Covid at all if it hadn't been for DH and me already having tested positive.

Nausea and horrific vertigo for both DC and me
