The “rules” have bern ridiculous from day one. Where I live, during the shutdown you were allowed to go into a windowless marijuana hut (which by law had to keep the door closed) and stand a few feet across a counter from someone and purchase marijuana but you couldn’t go into a sandwich shop and buy a sandwich across a counter (you had to stay outside and have the sandwich brought out to you) or go into a craft shop and stand across a counter from someone and buy a ball of wool (such stores had to close completely). You could buy marijuana and alcohol and go to a fast food drive-thru but couldn’t buy gym clothing, seeds to plant vegetables or go camping but this was supposed to be all about our health.

The state I live in requires all state employees to be fully vaxxed or they are fired. Even if you work at home full-time or work alone or outdoors. In the next county to us, vaxxed people may sit down to eat but unvaxxed must place an order whilst standing and then when the food arrives must take it outside to eat.

What state are you in @BritWifeInUSA? That sounds bonkers. I'm in Nevada and it's been fairly sensible since we reopened back in May of last year. Aside from the masks which have an impossible to reach target to get rid of. I see more and more people just not wearing them now and no one cares. I'm really hoping we don't go down the road of vaccine passports.
