AZ + Pfizer booster - side effects?

I'm going for my booster this morning. Had awful side effects for 48 hours with my first AZ but nothing on the second.
How have you all fared with adding Pfizer to the mix (I'm pretty sure I'll get Pfizer as I'm going to the same centre my husband went to the other day and that's what they gave him)

I had 2 x AZ - first time was like being run over by a bus, second by a camper van. Second time as I felt the slight palpitations after 15 seconds, drunk after 39 mins and a moment of being about to faint after 42 mins (identical both times, and other friends had the same), I thought - fking hell, I don't much want this again.

Had Pfizer booster today. Felt immediately all cold after it. Arm now stuffed. And feel kind of like I have a temp. Definitely affected. But much less than AZ

I had my pfizer booster on Wednesday.

Ist vaccine AZ - really sore area around injection site which was red and swollen for a week and remained tender for a few weeks. Nothing else.

2nd vaccine AZ - nothing at all.

Booster Pfizer - sore arm for 48 hours. Had the jab at lunchtime and the following day woke up feeling like I wanted to curl up in front of the telly. Not really ill though and carried on as normal. Completely back to normal by Friday.

First AZ, sore and stiff arm. I’m used to jabs and it was easily within the parameters of previous side effects.
Second one, slightly sore bump.
Pfizer jab booster...no reaction I detected.

This is the 6th day of crippling side effects for me post-booster (2 x AZ and Pfizer booster). I'm struggling massively and just posting in case anyone has any words of wisdom?

It's been fever with freezing extremities, shivers, every night. Fever better during the day. But crippling headaches the whole time, worst I've had in my life - can barely see as I type this.

I'm also on a nausea rollercoaster, some days better some worse for this but today is a bad day and I've been gagging over a bowl, can't eat anything and can barely keep water down.

Trying to parent 4yo and 10 month old and am relying on DH massively but realistically can't go on like this much longer.

What do we think? Info leaflet seems to say most symptoms alleviate in 72 hours - could I call 111? Is there anything to be done? :(

I had my Pfizer booster on Tuesday evening after 2 doses of AZ. Have had a sore arm, and have just woken up with stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Not sure if it’s a coincidence or a side effect?

Not had my booster yet but Dh did last week after 2 AZ (he was v tired after first / like a really bad hangover, fine after second). I nearly took him to A&E last week as he just could not move. We were out somewhere and I had to leave him in the car. It came on v fast (2 hours after jab), then he was fine within twelve hours.

Not looking forward to mine now.
I had no symptoms after either AZ (aside from sore arm) but can't see myself being so lucky a third time.

An extremely sore arm but nothing else. Had bad headaches and body aches after both AZ

OMG the whole "what jabs and side effects did you have" has caused many an argument in our family! Partner had all pfizer, slightly sore arm but otherwise fine (apart from being unbearably smug).

I had AZ, typical reactions - 1st jab made me feel awful, shivers, headache, etc for 24 hours - very intense but finished as fast as is started. Had a moderna booster on Tuesday and had shivers and a headache (these started almost 24 hours later, whereas with the AZ jab side effects kicked in about 10 hours later), plus very sore arm.

I would REALLY like a jab next time that I don't react to - there should be a database so everyone gets something different. This is purely to remove arguments about side effects within the family unit

First AZ I felt rough about 8 hours afterwards, shivery and flu like, but took paracetamol and went back to sleep. Was tired for a few days but nothing dramatic. 2nd AZ no side effects whatsoever.

Had Pfizer this afternoon, within about 5 mins felt odd. Remained odd since and shivery. Sat in PJs and dressing gown while rest of family in shorts and tshirt PJs. Had some paracetamol and having an early night hopefully to sleep it off.

The AZ jabs felt nothing ditto my flu jab. But the Pfizer one yesterday sheesh it hurt my arm is much more sore too. Is the needle bigger ??
