Vaccine for 5-11 year olds - would you go abroad to get it?

Has anyone done this already for their 12+? I’ve heard vaccine tourism is a thing. My kids were born in the USA, we lived there for a few years, so I’d consider travelling to get them jabbed if the U.K. drags its feet on vaxxing younger kids. In some states you don’t have to be resident to qualify. Anyone know anything more about this? An expensive option, but one we’d consider if it was a sure thing and there’s no other option in sight here at home.

No, both my kids tested positive for covid at start of year. One was asymptomatic and the other had a slight headache and coughed a few times at bedtime/during the night (but fine in the day). They've both been worse with colds.

Insane

We vaccinate children against several illnesses that often aren’t very serious (but can be in some children). If you are judging the Covid vaccine differently it’s an emotional rather than a rational decision you are taking.

But it would be highly unusual to go abroad to get children jagged for these.

I'm not sure anyone can help the decision making. If for some reason you're desperate to and you have enough money to do so abroad, just do it?!

Just to be clear again, I’m not deliberating over whether to vax my kids, I’m decided on that. I’m interested in learning if and how others might be doing it by going abroad. I heard of several families taking their 12+ kids abroad before it was rolled out here and I’m interested in what their experience was like. For those that are following the thread from a similar point of view, apparently there are ‘vaccine tourism’ opportunities for the 5-11 yr old group opening up in Vienna soon (Pfizer). Also some states in the USA, Singapore and potentially Switzerland, I’ve heard. I’m aware some people may find this unethical - for a whole host of reasons - but I’ll explore these possibilities for my kids if that’s what’s best for us.
