Record of Booster in NHS App

I’m trying to find out whether I need to chase this up... I had my booster dose 4 weeks ago and there is nothing at all in my records to say I have had it, I know that it doesn’t show on the NHS Covid pass, however I thought it would show in the “View Covid 19 Records” section of the NHS App and so wondered if it does for others?

I’m concerned about it not making it to my records because I think at some point they may need to add these doses on to the pass. Some countries, including one I’m intending to visit, already state your last vaccine dose must have been within 12 months. I need to know whether I should chase this potentially missing record up, or whether to reorganise my travel plans for before March when my 12 months runs out.

My dad actually chased his up and was advised by the NHS there are no plans for boosters to show on the NHS app

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 31/10/2021 22:03

I was wondering about this because I couldn't see my booster on the app.

nex18 · 31/10/2021 22:03

Well mine shows on my NHS app, go into medical records and then immunisations and there it is.

Cookerhood · 31/10/2021 22:14

It will be in "immunisations" and/or "acute medicines" within your GP record.

TheAnswerIsCake · 31/10/2021 22:18

This is in the MyGP app though? I get “Your practice has not enabled this section” for these. I thought it would show under the Covid records in the “NHS App” where I currently just have hundreds of negative LFT results!

I hope those plans change. Otherwise that’s countries like Austria and Switzerland back off the travel agenda.

No @TheAnswerIsCake it’s the NHS app…

Hmm... the “GP Health Record” in my NHS App just has my name, date of birth, NHS number and address. Nothing else on there.

Hmm, well mine doesn’t, maybe have a word with your surgery because mine has my GP health record!

Mine is like yours @NotMyCat but not as many acute meds 🤣🙈

AnyFucker · 01/11/2021 07:54

My booster hasn’t shown up after 6 weeks or so either. My other 2 jabs are in the “immunisations” section of my NHS app so I expected it to appear there.

I am back at the GP soon for my flu jab so I will be enquiring then.

UndeadSlut · 01/11/2021 07:56

There was a sign up in the vaccination centre saying that there is a delay in adding boosters to your records. I have just checked my NHS app and mine is there, not bad since I only had the booster Saturday!

UndeadSlut · 01/11/2021 07:58

Meant to say, it doesn't show up in the "covid pass" bit, but does if I go into the GP records part.

SpookyScarySkeletons · 01/11/2021 07:59

They have just mentioned this on GMB.

Apparently there are delays in adding the records but they will be added at some point.

ColettesEarrings · 01/11/2021 07:59

Try under Consultations and Events, that's where my flu jab turned up eventually! 🤷🏻‍♀️

AnyFucker · 01/11/2021 08:36

Nope, nope and nope. There is no record of my booster anywhere apart from a flimsy bit of card.

ifonly4 · 01/11/2021 09:08

I asked for proof of my booster vaccination and was told it goes straight onto the system. I have no paper record, batch number. I can get into my GP records but there's no details whatsoever, previous vaccinations, appointments, treatments.

AnyFucker · 01/11/2021 10:05

Do you not have the little card they give out at the time ?

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 01/11/2021 10:12

They didn’t give me a card for the booster. I assumed it would all be in the app, so I didn’t ask for one.

AnyFucker · 01/11/2021 10:13

Ok

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 01/11/2021 19:36

I found mine under GP services, then Immunisations, but that won't be enough to travel to some countries.

Bettyboopsboop · 01/11/2021 19:41

I found mine under Medicines-acute short term medicines

Cookerhood · 01/11/2021 20:30

You don't need it to travel yet. When you do they'll add it to the app. Mine is in both acute medicines & vaccinations. What you can see will partly depend on the permissions granted by your GP practice.
ChardonnaysPetDragon · 01/11/2021 20:33

Not yet, but if I want to travel to Switzerland then I need to have been vaccinated in the current year. I think there is also an app to download and I need to pay them, but that's another matter.
