Take bets on whether the PCR will be positive?

Bit of a snuffly nose but nothing else.

7am routine lateral flow positive.
Booked PCR straight away.
12pm lateral flow negative
4pm later flow negative

So one Faldo positive lateral flow? Or am I positive and following 2 tests are failing to pick it up?

Been in lots of contact due to my job.

How often did T&T contact you? A friend of mine is weighting up whether to take the PCR and when? Surely it’s better to wait a few days as it will be negative if too early?

If you're in the SW pcr will be negative because it's all messed up atm. I'd do another lf in the morning before eating and drinking.

What do you mean by this? What is messed up at the moment?

Loads of people getting multiple positive LF tests, followed by a one or two negative PCR from a walk /drive in test site, before finally getting a positive result from a postal test.
Plus something weird is going on in the SW, as case figures in some areas arw suddenly plummeting while rest of UK is going up.

They emailed me, texted me and then rang.

I agree you can be too early but I am in work the rest of the week so in the absence of actual symptoms monday was my only window to attend the test site which is a 45 minute round trip from home. Had to queue for 35 minutes too. No way I could fit that in on a working day as they shut at 6.

Negative for DC, got the text an hour ago but not heard about mine and we went at the same time. Nerve wracking! Wondering if they are prioritising kids

We are south west by the way and husband has positive lateral flow and pcr test on Sunday

When I had it I felt like it was a head cold lost my smell around day 5 and had 2 days of horrific headache that just wouldn't go then started to feel fine again. I had 1 call from track an trace give them all the info they needed then blocked the number as didn't want them phoning everyday.

I've just done a PCR and sent DS out to post it back. All LFTs negative but I have a weird cough. It will be a massive bummer if it's positive because I'm meant to be going away this weekend with my sister.

I am also negative. Not really sure what to do now. Apparently me and DC can carry on with our lives as normal even though husband has covid in the same house. 🤷‍♀️
