Sorry this isn’t really Covid related, but I’m now suffering with my 5th cold this year. Confused

I have a toddler in nursery (he’s 19 months) and since he started he seems to pass most things he catches, to me!

I never used to suffer with colds, maybe one every few years! Now it’s one every few months.

We’re going on a uk holiday next week and I could really do without being full of cold.

Does anyone have a recommendation of a good multivitamin (or any other vitamins) I could take?

Innovation

I am not loyal to any one brand of vitamins or supplements. I have different brands on the go.

I take
Vitamin c
Vitamin D, Calcium, k2
Cod liver oil which also contains vitamin D and also vitamin e
Magnesium before bed at night. There's different types of magnesium and I take a magnesium glycinate.

Recently I added in Iron and also a probiotic for gut health.

In the winter of 2019 both my mom and brother came down with heavy colds. Both of them refused to help their bodies through those colds and they were coughing and sneezing and feeling unwell for weeks. There I was and I escaped it all. I think it is because of the supplements I take. When I feel a cold come on or if there's colds in the house or work, I tackle it straight away with vitamin c, plenty of fluids, paracetamol, garlic tablets, honey. I don't even wait for a cold to set in, I tackle it straight away. I had far too many sinus and chest infections in the past which always stemmed from colds so I have to be proactive instead of letting a cold run rammage in my body.

Oh - and in the event of a bad cold coming on, I absolutely swear by these. They are expensive, but worth it:

Counter Attack by Rainbow Light

I use ones you spray into your mouth. Bought them on Amazon. Think they are called better you. Only a few days since I’ve started but they have pretty good reviews. Especially the vitamin d ones

I'm currently taking Daily Revitalise Powder by Buy Wholefoods Online, and then moving to Good Green Vitality by Nuzest to compare.
