I had my first vaccine in Jan, so am I right in thinking, my immunity to covid will be wearing off now?

My sister had her first jab in January (frontline HCP) and tested positive last week with mild symptoms.

First one in December and the second one in January (Pfizer) I work in NHS so I am quite exposed, but so far so good....

Second vaccine end of April just tested positive for the 3rd time since April 2020. Rough ish cold symptoms for a few days now.
