Tested positive. I’m double vaxxed.

I’m 36 and have a BMI of 41 😣

Please don’t be unkind about my size. I’m working on it.

How likely am I to become seriously ill. I don’t want to end up in hospital.

@Welshiefluff

No idea but get your weight down and not only because of covid.
Oh fgs. So unhelpful.
katsounds · 11/08/2021 21:09

@Welshiefluff this is such an unhelpful comment.

OP has already said she's working on it but don't let that get in your way of posting something entirely useless and uninformative as a way of sticking the boot in Hmm

Largethighsbadeyes · 11/08/2021 21:11

Cross post!

Luckily not everyone is horrible OP.

I would echo what others have said. The odds are massively in your favour of being fine. Lots of rest, lots of fluid, lots of box sets

@Chubbycub there's another thread where there's a few of us currently with covid who are double jabbed. I've found it quite helpful to chat with people in the same boat.

Do you feel good about yourself?
Minniem2020 · 11/08/2021 21:32

Myself, dp and ds all have covid at the moment. Dp has high blood pressure and is on the large side and hasn't had any of the vaccines. He felt really unwell for the 1st 2 days, headaches and really shaky but since then it has just been the tiredness that he's struggling with, it's wiped him out but nothing he can't cope with. I've had my 1st vaccine and it's just been like a heavy cold but again extra tired. Ds3 thankfully hasn't had any symptoms at all which was my biggest fear. Wishing you a speedy recovery op

PeonyTime · 11/08/2021 21:33

In the past 7 days 196,347 people have tested positive.
5358 people were admitted to hospital.
That's over 97% of people who either breeze through it, or have some time in bed.
Rest, fluids, painkillers. Chances are you'll be fine.

Hope you're OK op. Remember to keep taking plenty of fluids and rest as much as you can. The fact you're double jagged and young is very much in your favour. Also if you don't have any health concerns then the odds of not being hospitalised are high.
Might be an idea to get an oximeter to keep track of your oxygen levels.
Flowers hope it passes soon.
