Pfizer double jabees, which one had most side effects?

Hodan85 · 06/08/2021 07:50

I have my second Pfizer jab shortly and we're on holiday the next day, so just wondering what people's experience of side effects after their second jab, compared to first were? I realise it varies between people, but thought I'd do a little straw poll!

I had no/very little side effects after first jab.

TIA

From a totally unscientific sample of people I know there is no way to predict how a person will feel. Everyone's experience is different

DinosaurDiana · 06/08/2021 08:34

DF had no side effects off either.
DS had a very sore arm and felt crap after the second.

Willwebebuyingnumber11 · 06/08/2021 08:34

No side effects with either.

DwangelaForever · 06/08/2021 08:35

Did anyone have covid in between their jabs? I've heard the jab gives you bad side effects if you've had covid before. I just had a sore arm with my first then caught covid in between and now I'm worried about my 2nd jab side effects.

TheFlis12345 · 06/08/2021 08:36

Barely noticed either. Bit tired the next day for both, and an achey arm after the first.

Maskedrevenger · 06/08/2021 08:42

1st one no problems at all 2nd one totally fine til day 3 then extremely dizzy and nauseous for 2 days I had to be off work for the 2 days. From sample where I work H&SC, so early mass vaccination, this was quite common. HR even had an absence code on our system for absence due to vaccine side effects. If it had been after my 1st I would still have gone for the 2nd I would just have been more prepared.

zoeydollie · 06/08/2021 08:45

First one was slightly worse with a sore arm and brief mild headache.

countrypunk · 06/08/2021 08:57

I felt really tired for a few days after the first, and the day after the second I had proper flu symptoms - temperature and chills. But that only lasted 24 hours and then I was right as rain again.

Sisisimone · 06/08/2021 08:58

No side effects whatsoever with either

Tibtab · 06/08/2021 09:00

Felt more tired after the first, arm was less sore with the second too.

I didn't have it in between but had it the month before my 1st jab and had no side effects

LarsErickssong · 06/08/2021 09:01

Really sore arm after first
Slightly sore arm after second
No other side effects

Abraxan · 06/08/2021 09:11

Me, dh and Dd all had Pfizer but none of us had any real side effects,

We all had a sore arm for a bit. I had a slight lump under one arm pit for a few days but wasn't particularly sore. Had a slight headache that evening. Nothing more.

Abraxan · 06/08/2021 09:13

I'd had covid prior to my first vaccine, a few months earlier. Still no real side effects.

Infact, I only know one person who has had a side effect with Pfizer - an ongoing painful arm. It stopped hurting after her second jab oddly.

jewel1968 · 06/08/2021 09:15

Second jab. Had a few days off work with headache. The headache lasted 2 weeks..

Mummyneedsacoffee · 06/08/2021 09:29

1st jab - tired for a few days
2nd - had it in the morning and at 1am I woke up violently shaking… like when you shiver but I wasn’t cold and it was quite extreme for an hour. I was sick and had a head (still have a mild one 3 days later) and I still feel abit sick but it’s easing off.

Hodan85 · 06/08/2021 09:32

Thanks all! Interesting to hear everyone's experience. Glad everyone seems well now after a few unpleasant reactions; crossed I'm one of the lucky ones!

1st one I had a slightly sore arm. I had the second one this week and had to take a day off work as I was achey all over and felt like I had A fever. I woke up fine the next day.

Preg19 · 06/08/2021 09:35

1st one I was fine
2nd one I had at 1pm felt fine for the rest of the day, went to bed woke up st midnight with chills then a temp a few hours later, felt rough the next day and then the after I felt fine.
I was told at my appointment I was likely to get flu symptoms with 2nd jab but only should last a day or 2 which it did.

jewel1968 · 06/08/2021 09:37

I still have tinnitus in one ear. I used to have tinnitus in that ear which over years had faded and gone away. Now back (different though) but I think it is fading months later

alloalloallo · 06/08/2021 09:42

1st one I was fine. No side effects at all other than a slightly sore arm which had gone by the time I got up the following day.

2nd one - felt like shite. I had the jab just after 9am, by lunchtime I felt awful, couldn’t concentrate, bone tired and achey. Had a horrible night with fever and chills and still felt rough the following day. Around 9pm all symptoms disappeared

MikeWozniaksGloriousTache · 06/08/2021 09:44

Only sore arm from both. Sore arm was worst with 1st. Barely even felt the 2nd until day 2 and it was like a little bruise. 1st I struggled to lift above 90 degrees for a few days.

huuskymam · 06/08/2021 09:50

My first Pfizer I was a bit tired and a sore arm, nothing major. On the second one, I couldn't raise my arm at all, couldn't keep my eyes open (slept on and off for about 30 hours) was very nauseous and my whole arm was numb. These symptoms lasted about 3 days.

Cornwallnewbie · 06/08/2021 10:32

Felt terrible for a couple of days with first, totally fine after second.

DowntonCrabby · 06/08/2021 10:34

I was knackered after the first with a mild headache. I felt completely fine after the second one, just had a sore arm.
