How long are PCR tests taking at the moment?

Had a test this morning. Have some mild symptoms, feel rough, think unlikely as barely been out, plus 2X vaccinations and covid previously but thought I'd better check and isolate. How long have tests been taking recently?

I'm still waiting for results of my home test. It was delivered at 6pm Thursday and still nothing. Very frustrating as my bf is supposed to have his dcs all next week and he doesn't know whether he should be isolating or not (or even having them at all if he has caught it from me). I've told him to lie and get a test and he is self isolating as an extra precaution in the meantime.

I sent my daughters back by post box yesterday and not heard any thing she was hoping to go work tonight if negative.

DD had a test at 10am this morning- negative result back at 9pm

We got the first of ours back just after 5pm and the last one at 8.30pm.

I’m still waiting. I posted dds on Friday afternoon. Wish I’d used the drive in service now!

Actually Thursday afternoon 😩

I can't even get a postal one, just a message saying none available, and am feeling too ill to drive to get one done

@BuddleiasBeesAndButterflies Keep trying. The pcr centres sometimes say they don’t have any appointments and then change an hour later. If might be the same for home tests.

My DS was tested at 11.30am - results back by 8am the following day - positive!
