Any 40 year olds having your 1st dose this week/soon?

I need a hand hold..I’m trying to force myself to get this vaccine but as with everything when you force yourself it’s even harder..anyone in my boat?

This is not helping you. You don't need to do research or look at stats for this. We have people who do this for you. They are hugely well trained and well regulated and you are unlikely to spot something they've missed without an epidemiology degree a doctorate, loads of research experience and about 100 hours of subject specific reading. Honestly.

Similarly, I have a fear of flying, but it's made much better by reminding myself I'm a passenger. I'm neither a pilot, nor safety trained cabin crew, nor engineering and ground personnel. They do their jobs that they are qualified for, so I do NOT need to bring my nonexistent knowledge and training into play in order to be on the aircraft.

Promise yourself a massive reward after you get it done and after that distract, distract, distract. Read a book, suck a sweet, play a game on your phone and wait for the nice people to direct you into the vaccination.
