If you gave your DC’s covid, how poorly were they?

I know the headlines are that children don’t suffer from covid as much as adults, but what was your personal experience?
Single parent so can’t isolate from them, a LF for me this morning, PCR booked today, I’m not worried about myself but worried about DCs 6 and 2 getting poorly from it

I’ve given it to DS (11) he’s fine. V slight cough. No other symptoms at all

Thanks for all your posts. PCR positive for me, tested eldest DC at same time in case he was asymptomatic but his was negative (wasn’t the best sample though!)

They’re both okay so far, both a bit warmer than normal but touch wood that’s it for now. Will see how the next week plays out!
