Just this really. He wasn’t right on my heels but pretty close. Given that this age group are the main carriers at the moment, and he wasn’t wearing a mask, I desperately wanted to ask him to social distance a bit more. I didn’t, but I felt very uncomfortable.

Should I have said something? Would you have done?

Overall I was pleasantly surprised how many people were still wearing masks.I did look at those who weren’t, and silently judge them and think how selfish they were. I know some of them would have been exempt for a good reason but a lot of them wouldn’t be.

I did not say I am hard as nails. Saying I can handle myself means that I am able to defend myself if needed. Fortunately, I have not been in a position where I have had to do so.

Look up the definition of delusional as there is nothing delusional about what I said.
The current situation is definitely not funny.

For the record - I’ve politely asked several people to back up away from me when queuing since the first lockdown. No drama has ensued yet. I can handle myself but have started a martial art, because I can see what’s coming. Society is a mess right now.
