2nd Pfizer vaccine - how did you feel?

I'm due to have my 2nd Pfizer vaccine in a few weeks. I felt a bit rough after the first, a horrible headache and felt a bit hungover but mainly the next day. What have people felt after the second? Just wondering whether to take an overtime shift that afternoon, I'll he having the jab in the morning.

Arm was sore but not as bad as the first one, I did need to have a short nap the day after but no other effects. I felt a bit fluey and achy after the first one and didn't feel that this time.

A lot better than the first one, sore arm & little tired for a couple of days the first one had a horrible headache for nearly three weeks & arm was very swollen & tender, hopefully the side effects will be a lot less debilitating this time for you.

A slight sore arm and that was it. Much better than the first one. Felt a big groggy after the first one, but nothing much else really.

Exactly the same as you after the first. The headache was awful, absolutely nothing after the second.

Totally normal - no side effects that I'd noticed.
DS was bit tired for a day, or so he said.

Awful. Around 12 hours after 2nd jab started shivering. Bed bound for 24 hours. Several colleagues had similar. I wouldn't have been able to work.

Sore arm for a few days, bit worse than 1st jab. Still could do things including lifting stuff etc. Tired for a week but having a nap helped. Heart beating racy for a day on the second day which I panicked a bit but calmed down the following day.

Sore arm, very tired that day but fine after that.

Grim for a couple of days - high temp and aching, several colleagues had the same.

Horrible for 48 hours - day after I had such a bad headache and dizzy feeling I couldn't pick the kids up from school, however the night after was the worst, my injection was at lunchtime.

I’m 33 & everyone I know bar older family/vulnerable had Pfizer. Not a side effect between us bar a bloody sore arm 🤷🏼‍♀️ Those hashing AZ were far far worse!

Absolutely normal apart from a slightly aching arm the next day. I had it Saturday

Second was easier than the first and I prepared for the worst as thought 2nd Pfizer was meant to be bad.

Arm was a lot less sore. And as just a bit tired.

On day 2 after second Pfizer right now and have a general run down/early stages of a cold feeling, a bit of fever/chills too. Nothing awful but I didn't go for my planned run!

I had my second today; very sore, heavy arm and I’m so tired I don’t want to talk (unusual for me 😂)…that being said, I haven’t slept well the last few nights because of the heat, so it could be that.

Just a very sore arm for 24 hours

Day 3 after 2nd Pfizer and feel back to normal again other than a sore armpit in the arm I had the jab. Yesterday I felt tired, achy and like I had a cold coming on. Went to bed early. Had the best sleep of my life and woke up feeling fantastic!

I had precisely seven hours of a fever, aches, chills and exhaustion, and then boom, the cloud lifted and I felt absolutely fine.

Shivery, achey, awful headache. Lasted about 24hours. Really struggled in work.

First one I was fine, just sore arm.

Sore arm, but no other symptoms.

DH was the same

Tired the 2 days after but nothing awful, just went to bed after DCs were down for the night but arm fine and nothing else.

A bit weary, sore arm for a day or so. Nothing else.

Arched ached like a mofo after the first one for ages, second one achey arm 24hrs and was fine x

I had zero reaction to the first one

Second one I had a sore arm for 1 Day and needed to go to bed early the day after . basically I was in bed by 8pm and had a brilliant long sleep

DH had a tougher time with jab one. His arm and neck hurt for days and he felt really under the weather for 5-6 days . He had absolutely no reaction to jab 2 .

Was absolutely fine, but for a slightly sore injection site for both the first and second. DH was exactly the same. No long-term ill-effects at all.
