I like to think Whitty at least is staying in because he's a professional who doesn't want to leave the country in the lurch and he's also gathering material for the inevitable book, public speaking and interviews afterwards.

A year or two of that will allow him to retire somewhere nice where he can spend the rest of his life doing whatever he wants to.

But yes, assuming there would have been a Boris, Sajid and another top tier podium bod doing a conference tomorrow, there's going to be some hasty rearranging.
