What were your weird side effects after covid jab?

Had my first covid jab today, AstraZeneca.

Apart from clammy hands and a slight headache, I feel fine. But I keep getting a weird stabbing sensation in my left thigh and also in the palm of my right hand. Really random!

Anyone else had any really strange symptoms?

Vaccinated x 2 times via work.no adverse effects.no contraindications.
Many people will have no adverse symptoms, a few will have minor

I became hyperactive and had a huge and unexpected period on AZ. DP felt spaced out and came out in a scabby rash on his face.

I lost my filter and spoke my brains for a day. Very weird. Told a client that their proposal sounded like a complete nightmare.
Also had a weird period, which arrived very early, lasted a day, then stopped and returned at its normal time.

Apart from more common ones like fever, chills, weakness Nd headache and sore arm at site of injection I also had knife like stabbing pains in my lymph nodes under that arm for several days after.

I haven't experienced side effects but I have heard of people having odd stabbing pains in limbs for a short while.

I had lots of stabbing pains after first especially on right hand side just above hips. Just had second and half an hour after blood starts coming out of one of my fingers from under nail with no injury, bizarre. Stopped after 30 mins or so.

I have my first Pfizer dose next week and and terrified of the side effects

First jab numb upper jaw back left
Plus 2 huge rushes of blood loss like periods
2nd time jaw again but less numbness
Mine was Pfizer

Usual aches pains feeling very tired. Hyperactive and couldn't sleep. On both. Also hives in various places all over my body after first which l wondered if it could have been something l ate but came again on second one.

I had the common ones and felt awful for 24 hrs but also had like random rushes of adrenaline and got really silly and giddy, making stupid jokes like I was drunk.

With that and uncontrollable shivering my OH didn’t know what to do with me

I had a sore arm for about 12 hours after.
Also my period was a week later after! I've spoken to other women who have said it also messed up their period.
Nothing bad though :)

It made my mum very very tired. She said she enjoyed it as she finally had a few good nights sleep Grin

Pfizer and got the flu like I've never had it before. So much so that I thought it was covid. Weirdly, this was a week after the jab. I'm only just recovering three weeks on. It's put me off the second jab if I'm honest.

My periods are all over the shop. Frontline health worker so had both jabs early on. My cycle is still erratic months on.

Please report your side effects from vaccines (or any other drug treatment) to the MHRA’s ‘yellow card’ system. This government agency is tracking side effects from vaccines and people reporting them really helps to spot problems and to get manufacturers to improve their vaccines (or drug treatments) long term.

After the first jab I had the usual sore arm and flu-like symptoms but also complete loss of appetite for exactly 48 hours. The thought of making food for the kids made me feel sick.
After the 2nd jab I had really mild sore arm and body aches. And slight loss of appetite and nausea.

I had this, I thought it was because I went on a walk wearing flip flops so maybe it was the jab. I also had pins and needles in my arms for a few days, really aching neck and my period is very light
