Signs of hope

A month or so back Blackburn peaked at 677 cases per 100,000... It's now halved to 373. That's happened without any lockdown or restrictions (apart from keeping masks in classrooms). Blackburn led the way with Bolton (which is also from its high) with the Delta variant so I'm wondering if it's reasonable to hope that we may as a country peak before too long.

I agree it has been a strange shift in tone. Originally zoe data on infections was much high than those reported by the government, it is now much lower. The extent to which this is a function of more testing I am not sure.

I wonder if the non vaccinated cases are dropping in zoe becuase of a lack of older non vaccinated people reporting symptoms on the app. I assume those who have not turned down the vaccine are more likely to use zoe.

We are going up sharply! :-(

Zoe data showed cases had peaked on November 4, last year... I don't think that panned out so well.
