If you saw someone come out after getting the Covid jab get a seizure and collapse?
My sister went to get hers and saw that.. I told her I would’ve walked out after seeing that 😬

Ha, funnily enough I had my whooping cough jab the other day and the lady in front of me fainted. I still had mine. I work in a school and loads of kids feel light headed / dizzy / faint (and a handful have actually fainted) after or during jabs. A lot of them are related to nerves and needle phobias.

Small town near me, it's ordinary for the oldies to just collapse in the street somewhere. I See this once every 2-3 years. Especially outside the bakery.

I haven't stopped shopping there or started to suspect something dodgy is in the sausage rolls.

I saw someone have a seizure whilst shopping. I still go shopping. I knew someone who had seizures when stressed or worried. It could've just been that.
Nohomemadecandles · 12/07/2021 13:34

In all common sense, do think that has happened to everyone who's had it that day? Like they're injecting you with something else?? Honestly, I'm sorry to be blunt but grow the fuck up.

Sally872 · 12/07/2021 13:39

I would be a bit more nervous, but my decision to have vaccine would not be changed by seeing someone have a seizure.

misssunshine4040 · 12/07/2021 14:15

@DigitalGhost

I actually saw this very thing after my first jab in Feb. He had a seizure as he walked back to wait in his van. Still had my second jab and saw the bloke driving about last week. You have no idea if the jab was to blame tbf. My DD has a seizure condition that can be triggered by pain.
He was driving 2 weeks after having a seizure?! Sorry but I thought the DVLA required you to be free of seizures for a year before driving again and you have a hospital check etc
misssunshine4040 · 12/07/2021 14:20

@DigitalGhost I didn't mean 2 weeks sorry I meant a few months.
I thought it was a year free of seizures before driving

eurochick · 12/07/2021 14:54

I've seen a couple of poor people collapse on trains before. I still take the train.

It wouldn't have put me off getting my vax. Millions have had it without issue. It's our best route out of this mess, so get that stuff in my arm!

AddsVsGeorgs · 12/07/2021 18:29

I did answer.
@AyyX

Its just not the answer you were after was it

No meed to be rude!

wordsareveryunnecessary · 12/07/2021 21:46

No because some people do have allergic reactions after a vaccine

MikeHat · 12/07/2021 22:07

DS passed out having contact lenses fitted. Would that put you off?
He's prone to it, passed out having blood taken and again having a cannula fitted.
Some people are squeamish. He still had the vaccine though.

shewalkslikerihanna · 12/07/2021 22:15

Next door neighbours 21 year old grandson took a seizure and fell and split his head open
Was taken to hospital
Still not right
I definitely would’ve left

Cocopogo · 12/07/2021 22:19

No I wouldn’t have left as I know seizures can happen anywhere and this was most likely someone with stress related epilepsy and not the jab.

LondonJax · 13/07/2021 14:22

I'd have had the jab! There's always a chance you'd have a seizure with any vaccination.

honkytonkheroe · 13/07/2021 15:58

My daughter passed out having her eyes tested. She is very prone to it and had not been pre-warned for air was going to be puffed into her eye! I continued to have my eyes tested next and would also have had a vaccine in similar circumstances!
