Does the vaccine protect you from long covid?

Just that really. I can’t find any information about this. I always assumed it did , but now that I keep hearing that people are testing positive, having symptoms etc even after two jabs I’m not so sure. Even if you only get mild symptoms you can still get long covid, that much I know.

I’ve never been very scared of the virus as I’m not vulnerable, but long covid does worry me a little bit and that’s the main reason I had the vaccine 😐
Can anyone find a reliable source regarding this or is the case that they just don’t know yet?
Also interested to hear if anyone here with long covid got “cured” by the vaccine?
Thx ❤️
