We test more, we sequence more. We are ahead with vaccines. The move is political… the variant is already in Europe, so cases are going to spike again. Germany (possibly France) will run a dialogue that it’s the uk fault. I think we should shut our boarders with Germany and see what they say when shit hits the fan regardless of uk travel

Merkel had her second vaccine - Moderna - on 22 June.

The German vaccination committee announced a mix it as official policy on 1 July. In the 10 days between the two events 100s of people cancelled their AZ appointments.

How have we given it to Spain. Spain is still on the amber list for us and travel is not allowed.

Delta variant is everywhere it is just (and understandably so given our links with India) we got it first
