What do we think ? 😂 Crackers ? Be most unfortunate if their immune system was a bit shady 😬

OP posts:
Waxonwaxoff0 · 25/06/2021 14:01

Cringe. No more cringe than the "I've had my vaccination" frames though, they're all stupid.

ConvenientCCTV · 25/06/2021 14:15

Nurses would be very grateful if anyone rejecting Medical Science (not taking up the vaccine) and trusting their immune system would be consistent and not attend hospital when their Trusty Immune System proves less than perfect and they suddenly decide Medical Science needs to take care of their sorry arses after all.

People who took the vaccine do not appreciate their hospitals becoming hotbeds of Covid infection from AntiVaxxers. Nor do the other vulnerable patients.

HumunaHey · 25/06/2021 14:42

Equally as cringe as those "I've had my vaccine" frames. All those facebook things are cringe. No need to plaster such things on your profile pic.

VoyageInTheDark · 25/06/2021 14:55

I don't trust mine, it's well shady Grin Attacks me if I eat gluten.

Mine eats my joints and inflames my body bits. It's a nob and I wouldn't trust it as far as I could throw it!
XenoBitch · 25/06/2021 15:07

I find the "I've had my vaccine" ones more cringe.
I have seen one that says "I have applied my haemorrhoid cream", which makes me smile

PrinnyPree · 25/06/2021 15:32

I don't do facebook frames but the "I've had my vaccine" ones are actually helping reduce the stigma of vaccines and the UK is actually having quite a good take up even by people who initially were skeptical of the vaccination programme. Smile

I agree. That's the reason I have that frame.
FrankensteinIsTheMonster · 25/06/2021 16:55

I like to give my immune system the tools it needs to do its job to the best of its ability. Saying you trust your immune system and declining a safe, effective vaccine is like saying you trust your security guards and declining to provide them with pictures of known criminals they're likely to come across.

RickiTarr · 25/06/2021 16:57

@VoyageInTheDark @TheVampiresWife

Is this some kind of “V” name autoimmune club? I need a new username. Grin

Yes, mine really doesn't like my spinal cord or brain. I wouldn't lend it 10p.
Oldpeoplesprinting · 25/06/2021 16:58

I hate those ‘I’ve had my vaccine’ ones. And I judge people who put them. Massively.

Yeah mine does that too but I give it the benefit of the doubt because it thinks it's helping.
CaptainBarbossa · 25/06/2021 16:59

The only person I trust less with my health than my immune system is Matt Hancock.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/06/2021 17:00

Mine thinks cows milk & sulfites are evil yet let’s me drink a Tesco’s Sauvignon blanc with both milk & sulfites in it 🤨.

Let me eat cheese you contrary bastard 😡

Fucker.

CaptainBarbossa · 25/06/2021 17:01

@Fluffycloudland77 have you tried lactose free cheese or taking lactase enzyme?

Lostinacloud · 25/06/2021 17:05

Well to be fair, the human immune system is thousands of years old and according to all government statistics, can protect 99% of humans from dying of covid.
Just a shame everybody has forgotten that and so we continue to be restricted while we apparently wait for the entire world to be vaccinated long after we vaccinated all the elderly and vulnerable people that wanted to have it and were actually at risk of more serious illness.

TooManyPlatesInMotion · 25/06/2021 17:05

They are awful. But the "I am fully vaccinated ones" are worse, those actually make my bowels loosen.

Same Grin it makes me eye roll and I have no control over it.
Fluffycloudland77 · 25/06/2021 17:07

I don’t lack the enzyme I’m allergic. Except for one wine 🤨 because that’s how much my brain likes sauv blanc

Wait, sauvignon blanc has milk in it?

How did you find out, did you just keep on drinking wine and having allergic reactions until you found the one that your immune system inexplicably ignores?
NeverDropYourMoonCup · 25/06/2021 17:12

Mine's an utter prick. It's been attacking my joints, tendons, assorted bursae and skin for years because it appears to have some sort of deficit in vigilance where it gets bored waiting for actual infections and indulges in some petty vandalism of some random part of my body for shits and giggles. Much like a bunch of bored teenagers on a sink estate.

Trusting your immune system? Don't ever turn your back on the shady little fuckers for one moment.

This.

@ConvenientCCTV one of the people at DMs church said he wasn't wearing a mask or taking the vaccine as you have to have faith. However he was more than content with emergency care from the NHS when his burst appendix nearly killed him.

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/06/2021 17:19

@FrankensteinIsTheMonster Didn’t check the label till the next day.

Moot point now as I’m 44 and alcohol is not my friend now Sad
