Is your school still requesting this? Does your school do this?

I dont know anywhere else outside I have to wear a mask...

DDs school still does it, along with the staggered start & finish times. I would say 99% of parents are still complying and the staff are too. We also have the office manager stood at the exit gate reminding people walking too closely to “keep 2 metres apart please”

I did actually run in the other day and forgot my mask. I told the head who stands on the entry gate and he said not to worry; it’s a polite request not a legal requirement.

My child school still require masks, and there is still a high level of compliance as well.

Tbh their illogical one way system and the layout of the playground means that there are parts of the playground where it is impossible to socially distance.

However, masks are always whipped off at the earliest opportunity and there are always loads of groups of parents standing chatting in the streets (unmasked and close together) right outside the gates of the school.

So, not really sure why we bother with the masks. The high compliance of mask wearing also baffles me.

Barely any of the staff wear masks or visors anymore.

Parents are more compliant in that respect.

@TheClaws you really are very very dramatic. Covid is not going anywhere. It's here to stay, for the rest of our lives now. It will always be there amongst other respiratory viruses but people should continue to wear masks outside just in case for ever more?

Where did I say "for ever more"? I simply said for a few minutes, at most Confused
