Has tested positive since the England match, no one he played with apparently is a close contact, so with all the training, hugging, shaking hands etc that doesn't constitute a close contact Confused

This is just beyond a joke now.

@AutoGroup no one in school is 2m apart. Mostly 2cm. Love the idea I have a classroom with 30 kids all 2m apart - it would be huge. And I use 6 different rooms a day 😊

Sigh, yes this was my point. Officially social distancing is being applied so you don't have to isolate regardless of the reality, whic is the same for a Covid compliant sports team.

And I didn't say he kids were 2m apart I said the adults are officially 2m from the kids.

Apparently the footballers are all being tested daily and everyone at the match has so far returned negative tests apart from him (according to the TV just now - don't shoot the messenger)

It's a joke now. If my DC get told to isolate again before the end of term we won't be complying. On the days I don't work I'll be taking them to our local beach.
