Hi I'm just wondering if anyone else experienced an horrific headache after having the Oxford jab? I had it yesterday and started to feel unwell last night ( I was unwell after my first jab but flu like symptoms) but towards 10pm I started to get an horrific headache and it's still there now, im laying in a dark room and have been sleeping but the pain even to turn my head is horrific. I'm sure it's just a normal side effect but has anyone else experienced a headache like this? Thank you

I was told to avoid any booze for a few days afterwards and to drink loads of water, this was before the warmer weather hit.
I had no reaction to either jab at all, my partner who thought this was rubbish advice, had splitting headaches.

I had exactly that. I had my jab at 11am, the shivers started at 10pm and then the headache and my god, I've never had one like it - and I get severe migraines. My jab was the Thursday and it was Saturday evening before it started to ease.

Hope you feel better soon.

I avoided alcohol before and after both jabs and still got headache. Actually headache makes it sound trivial. A pain across one side of my head that didn't go away with painkillers, was there all night and day for weeks.

I am so glad that you went to A&E Mammaaof. Hoping you are well.

Thank you! Yes I don't drink alcohol so it wasn't that that caused the headache
