So we told in today's conference

Seems delta spreading fast
1 vaccine only offers 33% effective
By July 19th we will have have more adults double vaxxed but not all.
So if after 19th July you not had 2nd vaccine and get covid then its just unlucky and unfortunate.
We pausing 4 weeks to double vaccinate the lucky few.

In 41 next month and my 2nd pfizer due start August.
Husband is 48 and due 2nd az end of July.
Will these definatly be brought forward with anyone under 40 just a bit unlucky?

I just don't think its logically feasible all over 18s had 2 doses by 19th July.

The virus is spreading fastest in under 65s they have more chance of getting the virus.

Feels like a lottery really depending where you live.

I just moved mine from the 28th July to the 7th July so it can be done now. Just had to move to somewhere further away

Ours are booked for 19 July but tempted to bring it forwards, an 8 week gap would be in 2 weeks. Im just worried that I'll cancel it then there won't be any appointments left 😱

The 33% from 1st dose is an average, does anyone know if the younger populations have a higher protection from the 1st dose? And maybe they have factored that into the new date. Still not sure what they plan to do about the kids though.

Why rush to open up after vaccination? Surely we should be looking to sterilise all women first, to prevent breeding any more covid hosts? Although we should all be triple masked and keeping 6tf away from our partners anyway, obviously, but some folk are just reckless.

There was question in parliament to liar boy Hancock that some areas had run out of pfizer.
If az not suitable for under 40s and we have pfizer shortage in some areas and hardly any moderna how we going to do more and meet this 4 week target.

Not everyone can get to mass vaccination centres as they too far away.
Gps say don't phone us about jabs we will contact you.

I worried about this but was actually more choice for second when I cancelled. Do it at a quiet time of day and worst case scenario you can re-book the slot you cancelled in the first place
