Vaccine expiring soon

According to the NHS app my vaccine (barcode) expires on 20 June, I.e. officially it will be as though I am unvaccinated again, presumably as the vaccine can’t be guaranteed to work after that date.

Is anyone else in this position? If so, are you doing anything about it?

I've just checked mine after reading this thread. Had my second jab on Tuesday and the expiration date of the barcode is 7th December 2021 so not all expiration dates are 20th of June.

Mine says the 7th December - only had one jab yet.

So it appears to be an entirely random date!

I think you will find that all the barcodes have the same expiration date. Initially mine was the June date and it's now 7th December.

This is such a non-issue though, why do people care what the expiration date is the bar code is??

They've been updated now, all barcodes should now say 7th December.

Mine says 10th July and a note underneath saying it will automatically refresh every 30 days to protect my data.

That's so weird, I thought maybe it was different for 1 / 2 doses, logged in to look at notes and mine is now 10 July too with the same message. At least it's a clearer note than before.

I bet they’re getting loads of queries about this!
