Anyone else impatient?! They were on a roll a few weeks back, dropping by 2 years every couple of days but it's now been 2 weeks on age 30.
I'm 28!
Wales seem well ahead, and I'm sure other places are.
Just impatient and waiting 😀 hoping we are soon!

29 and got mine booked for next Wednesday! Got a text mid-morning from my GP surgery and another one a few hours later from the national system. Before I got the first text I tried the national booking system but remained in the queue.

NHS site now open for bookings of people aged 21 and over.

looptheloopinahulahoop · 16/06/2021 08:31

As soon as I hear on here that it's open for the over 18s I'll book for my son. I am glad that yesterday when I said he could book soon he was pleased, so at least I know he is going to have it when offered.

NotSorry · 17/06/2021 21:13

the nhs website just allowed me to book DS's 18 and 20 y/o

DD (18) has just booked hers for next week. Not the most convenient location, but she wants to be fully vaccinated before the university term starts, so she went for that one rather than wait for a local slot.

looptheloopinahulahoop · 18/06/2021 07:53

I was able to book for my son yesterday evening and his second slot is mid September so in time for uni. I suspect it might get brought forward by then anyway.

He could have potentially had it done faster via the GPs as they seem to have already started the under 21s, but it's easier to book via the NHS website as you now have to phone the GP rather than using the online system I was able to use.

LimitIsUp · 18/06/2021 09:41

Dd (18) has booked hers. Second jab is September so too late for our Jersey holiday in August (they are putting whole of UK on red list due to delta variant), so that's is more cancelled plans, sigh

Oneearringlost · 18/06/2021 09:49

I'm sorry, it obviously differs in different parts of the country.
My DD (19) booked hers this morning for next Thursday in our local town. ( West Dorset)
