Had both vax, app says I've only had one

Just that really. I'm bloody horrified.

I had the first one mid jan as was on placement at a hospital. When I had the second one the nurse came to find me to tell me the record of my first wasn't there and that she'd put it in. Thought I'd just check the app in case I fancied going anywhere and yep, only one listed.

I'm nit having another one, I'm still ill from the second one in March.

Anyone any idea who the fuck i contact?

If you had AZ you can ring the covid line. I think it is 119, but you should google.
You should contact whoever organised the first and the second jab. Somebody must have told you to book it or sent you the link to book.

unambiguousbeard · 17/05/2021 22:23

Pfizer. You would think wouldn't you? 119 is automated. The email for the hospital vax service is automated. The person who sent me was my supervisor but it's the nhs. It was a staff walk-in. I may have to rock up there in person as can't find a phone number. Fucks sake

Link? I was given a post it note. It was the start of jan, don't think the link existed.

119 can't advise on pfizer. Only hospital or GP have records for pfizer. I was able to get the practice manager at my GP surgery to update my records. You need to contact whoever is relevant to the missing dose record.

endofthelinefinally · 17/05/2021 23:24

Start with occupational health at the placement hospital.

119 has real people, I called them on Saturday
Backofbeyond50 · 17/05/2021 23:26

Which app op?

JM10 · 17/05/2021 23:28

Did you get the card with the details of your batch? At some point someone has not entered it on the correct system. It's all manual input so it does happen. Which one is showing?

SweetCaroline895 · 18/05/2021 07:27

Mine is the same
I had the first Pfizer dose in January and second in early April and the nhs app only shows the first one. I'm not sure who to contact. I have my card with all the details on

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep · 18/05/2021 07:29

How do you use the app to show you're vaccinated? Is it the nhs one? Mine doesn't mention vaccines on it anywhere!

ihearttc · 18/05/2021 07:32

It’s on the NHS one, not the NHS covid app.

oneglassandpuzzled · 18/05/2021 07:36

If you’ve got the vaccination card(s) with both doses recorded on it and batch numbers I’m not sure why you’re so worried.

Lucidas · 18/05/2021 07:39

@oneglassandpuzzled

If you’ve got the vaccination card(s) with both doses recorded on it and batch numbers I’m not sure why you’re so worried.
Because the cards will soon be useless (you already have people making fakes), and the app is set to act as your official record.
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep · 18/05/2021 07:51

Excellent, thanks
unambiguousbeard · 18/05/2021 08:31

Thanks @Lucidas of course I'm worried. The card is no good.

Whichever pp said occupational health thank you. My gp practise is worse than useless so not spending an hour on hold to speak to a receptionist who can't/won't help.

I'll let you know how I get on.

unambiguousbeard · 18/05/2021 08:33

@endofthelinefinally thank you. You've saved me a wasted call to 119 too

OP posts:
Cookerhood · 18/05/2021 08:34

Whoever did it should have entered it on to the system while you were there. If you have your card occupational health should be able to add the details.

SweetCaroline000 · 18/05/2021 16:07

@unambiguousbeard
Can you let me know how you get on and who you called as mine says the same and my second dose was beginning of April

unambiguousbeard · 18/05/2021 16:55

@SweetCaroline000 I will.

I spoke to occupational health at the hospital who have no record of me. And why would they?

I spoke to a vaccine help line who told me I had to ask my gp to ring them, I can't do it direct.

I spoke to my gp receptionist who asked for the number of the helpline so he could ring to find out 🤦🏻‍♀️

OP posts:
SweetCaroline000 · 18/05/2021 16:58

Oh no it's sounds like it's going to be a hassle. I've no idea where to start. I might try Gp but they are not very good. Keep me updated and I'll let you know if I have any luck

cooperage · 18/05/2021 16:58

Mine was wrong too, and my GP surgery sorted it out.

SweetCaroline000 · 18/05/2021 17:10

I've just been told I need to contact Gp

SweetCaroline000 · 18/05/2021 17:17

Called my gp and they've not had record from where I had vaccine for any dose so
They can't update it. They advised to contact where I had vaccine which is going to be a hassle as it's all done via email

unambiguousbeard · 18/05/2021 17:51

Where I had the vaccine had no record of me.

The GP needs to call this vaccination helpline number, 0300 200 1000 it's for health professionals only. Or people involved in vaccinating. My gp receptionist just rang back to say they've said they will find it/me. It's quite a serious error let's face it!

If you have an email trail/contact @SweetCaroline000 you should be able to find it. All I have is the card. And a stickerGrin

I wonder who organised the vaccination programme at your placement OP? Usually work place vaccinations are organised by OH, or HR. That seems very strange. Do you recall the name or role of the person who instructed you to attend for the vaccine? Or the location of the place the vaccines were given? In any event it sounds as if you should be reporting to the HSE because it sounds as if several health and safety regulations have been broken.
For example:
The storage of the vaccines, the informed consent, the screening questions, the administration of the injection, the checking of the NHS number and recording of the batch number and dose in the individual's NHS record are all mandatory. So if these things were not done, somebody should be facing an inquiry.
