AIBU to have no sympathy for people who rushed to book holidays in Portugal...

... and are now moaning because Portugal haven't set their travel rules yet?

As soon as the UK announced that Portugal was on the green list, some people booked flights and holidays. Without checking whether Portugal would actually let them in... And now they're whingeing about it in the press!

Letting people roam around the world in order to find out who can jump the highest or run the fastest (and who can bring a new variant home with them!) or to watch men kick a ball about.
Yet in the pubs, you can't have more than one person in the toilet at one time as that's too dangerous apparently and don't go out the in door for goodness sake..
hmm. No wonder some people have given up.

Well I sympathise with them. A close member of my family was desperate to return to see friends & in laws she hasn't seen for a year, & it's been a crap year with illness and disappointment the whole way. So I'm gutted for her. And for all the people saying Oh yes aren't they they silly planning a holiday: well I hope you're happy to be so bloody perfect

I do have sympathy with those who are desperate to visit Family abroad . Those booking beach holidays abroad not so much , they must be well aware of the gamble .
