Yes, end of nov and now got long covid after a relapse,
Dp and my ds x2 , ex dp also had it Sad

Also have long covid 7 months on, and will need medication ongoing, possibly for life having developed dangerously high blood pressure at the same time as covid. Consultant believe it was caused by the covid virus.

@Abraxan I too have developed cardiac issues. In my case inappropriate sinus tachycardia as a result of long covid, now on b blockers....Sad

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you are getting the treatment and support needed.

It doesn't seem overly mentioned over here regarding these kind of effects. I think some research was taking place in America.

My blood pressure became so dangerously high and not coming down I was rushed to a and e with the very real possibility of heart attack or stroke, and had to be scanned for the possibility of blood clots, etc. Was a very scary time, more so for dh and teen Dd who had to see me rushed off without being able to come with me. It's took several months to get the right medication combo to bring it down to more normal levels. Likely to need them for good now.

Not knowingly. Had a virus last March when they were only testing admitted patients. Both work in the hospital.
