I'll never know. Both myself and dd felt a bit unwell but tested negative on lateral flows (the whole time). She went off school
On day 4 after coming home feeling absolutely awful. I sent a pcr test off for her, positive . I did one after that, negative, I was getting more unwell at the time. Did another one 2 days later - couldn't be read (no doubt as I had so much snot!)Then I took the decision not to take another test as I didn't want to be quarantined and unable to walk the dog (had been driving to a quiet field and doing a quick walk there just once a day).

Wish now I'd taken the test I guess, it's annoying not knowing! But we had the same thing so we both had colds and she just happened to have covid or we both had covid. But her mate tested positive and had same illness, as did one of my close friends who I'd seen recently.

I guess either I've had it or the vaccine has worked completely so either way I can relax a bit this winter is the upside

Both my kids have had it recently. I'm double jabbed & seem to have avoided it despite being surrounded by it for weeks.
