Please follow Mac n Chise on Twitter.

She is a virologist who works for Moderna who gives balanced factual data on Covid 19 and its vaccines. Everything she says is backed up my studies and data.

Really good for anyone who is anxious or who read s a lot of tabloids/social media articles.
Following her, seeing information in a clear way, really helped with my anxiety over this situation.
Every time I see 'mutant variant' or AZ and blood clots, I shrug as I know the actual data rather than just reading the headlines, who you will find, massively misuse information.

If she works for Moderna she won't be neutral will she? And I say that as someone who couldn't wait to have my vaccine.

@Suzi888 and @Fieldofmemes thank you for your good wishes. It was very scary and to be honest I’m still nowhere near 100%.

I feel very alone as I have no one I can turn to for honest advice. My symptoms started with a lump in my armpit (very soon after vaccine) which became horribly infected, followed by gastric upset which I put down to the antibiotics. Within 3 weeks I was hospitalised. I still have no answers. I spoke to my GP at length and she couldn’t offer anything either, apart from to say this level of bleeding is not caused by the antibiotics. So it’s something else.

It’s like we cannot ask questions about this vaccine even if we believe our health/lives to be at risk. Everyone I ask, everything I look up just repeats how safe it is, how important it is to take it, how much worse it would be to get Covid. Utter bullshit for the vast majority of us.

Sorry to rant on. For full disclosure I am not a fan of this government, the lockdowns or the semi-compulsory vaccines. Perhaps what happened to me would have happened anyway and I am looking to blame the vaccine. I don’t know and won’t ever know.

I see J&J has paused their rollout of the vaccine while investigating the clotting issue similar to that of AZ. Good to see cautiousness applied.
