Astrazeneca = Catanzarese (worrying questions!!!)

Look - normally I'm very keen on vaccines - I often have 2-3 before breakfast on a normal day - before I start my shift has a holistic alternative vaccination doula.

However, I'm very anxious about having my Astrazeneca vaccine tomorrow - not sure whether I should cancel my appointment. I have a few reasons to be concerned…

 1. First of all, I complete my degree in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic at University of Cambridge – so I’ve always had a distrust of anything emanating from Oxford.

 2. Second, the speed with which the vaccine was developed worries me. Starting in the 19th century it took many decades to develop an effective smallpox vaccine – and hundreds of millions of people across the world died before it was rolled out. How was it possible to develop one so quickly in the 21st century and why is it being introduced when only a few million people have died from COVID-19? It’s very suspicious. It’s not like other things have got faster is it? Like the time it takes me to get a message to you?

 3. Finally, and most worrying of all "Astrazeneca" is an anagram of "Catanzarese" which is an extinct breed of big from the Calabria region in Southern Italy. This fits with the suggestion that the vaccine might be designed to insert pig DNA into our chromosomes – perhaps to help create a breed of human-pig chimeras to replace the now extinct Catanzarese breed? I don’t want to become a sausage.

Wake up sheeple! Don’t become a sausage like the aunt, of the driving instructor, of the girlfriend of some bloke ranting in his car on Youtube.

I think your second point about the speed of the development has been tragically ignored.

I mean you are so right!
How could an International community of scientists in the 21st century with all the technology and infrastructure and all the funding and political will devoted to this issue manage to develop the vaccine so fast. It is highly suspicious in my view.

Oink

ThatsNotTheTeaHunty · 26/03/2021 11:50

Thanks. Now I've just turned into a sausage.

notrub · 26/03/2021 11:53

I must admit I'm very concerned about a side-effect that appears to be being covered up.. I mean literally covered.. in tweed.

That was after I saw this before and after photo of the first group to have the Oxford vaccine.

Squealing with laughter at sausage fingers Grin

MeltsAway · 26/03/2021 12:20

About 5 minutes after my vaccination, I got a really nice message from Bill Gates. He chats with me most mornings. I give him excellent advice.

FlatteredFool · 26/03/2021 12:22

@FlibbertyGiblets pigs squeal so keep an eye out for sprouting a curly tail.

CommunistLegoBloc · 26/03/2021 12:29

Slightly worried that @Comefromaway was a teacher 😂

As a Cambridge graduate, this made me smile. I sold out, though, and had my Oxford AZ vaccine this morning.

I'm hoping that my experience of visiting Zen Buddhist temples will cancel out my disdain for all things Oxford, and that the vaccine will therefore offer me some protection regardless.

pinkearedcow · 26/03/2021 13:24

@DropDTuning

Omg your so right this why I do my own research every day. The MSM would never report this

My friend whose a nurse said she would never have it cuz of the 'oxford comma ' in case u dont know this is like a thing where they use a comma before an and. It makes me sick so scary

And comma is like coma with an extra m! My consultant says it's all political and if you have the AZ vaccine you will go into an Oxford comma and they will steal your organs like in that book.

It is discusting, but the sheeple are falling for it.

user1495884673 · 26/03/2021 13:33

Is this why we are having to wear masks? So no-one can tell that our noses are getting snouty. Then one day, we'll all be done, whip off our masks and...dun dun dun...we're all pigs.

ichundich · 26/03/2021 13:37

AstraZeneca have been around under that name since 1999. Where do conspiracy theorists find the time to come up with nonsense like this?

TheGuru87 · 26/03/2021 13:42

I have to say I agree, with your point on the speed of the development and delivery of this vaccine.

However the public look at it, they are taking part in one big trial.

Hopefully we won't see some theoretical side effects develop I the future, such as ADE.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 26/03/2021 13:42

@ichundich are you suggesting the OP is telling porkies? Shock

pinkearedcow · 26/03/2021 13:48

You need to read the OP properly ichundich!

So true! And have you noticed that the sausages section in Sainsburys is getting ever bigger, as a proportion of the overall shelf space? Shock

If you look at the small print on the sausage labels, it even says they were 'Made in Oxford'! ShockShockSadAngry

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 26/03/2021 13:53

Totally agree op - I am well suspicious of stuff from Oxford - I am a Cambridge girl myself Smile

i have a friend who works in icu and she says look at the freezers in the morgue they are actually the freezers u get in an abbatoir. AngrySadAngry

Myalternate · 26/03/2021 13:58

So if we all had a Sainsburys Sausage, we could eliminate the need for vaccination? 🐷

AuldFox · 26/03/2021 13:59

Argh! You know some people will take this seriously right? Yes people really are this stupid....

ErrolTheDragon · 26/03/2021 14:00

There's definite evidence of sensory impairment related to the vaccine - the senses being 'common' and 'humour'.

DropDTuning · 26/03/2021 14:03

@AuldFox they walk among us already. whispers scroll up

I believe you! My consultant says that the hospital canteen has changed its menu recently and now it's all a load of tripe. Bet we can guess where that tripe comes from. No wonder they need those freezers. It's chilling, it really is.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 26/03/2021 14:13

@pinkearedcow I have to ask but were your ears always pink or is this a recent vaccine related change?

AuldFox · 26/03/2021 14:17
@AuldFox they walk among us already. whispers scroll up
I can’t.
