Late period and astrazeneca vaccine

I was on my period when I had the AZ vaccination last month. Period now almost a week late, I'm normally like clockwork, no weight loss/gain etc and not pregnant. I'm 31. Could this be related? I had quite a bad reaction - chills, fever, swears, nausea and felt rough for 3 days.

This has been mentioned a few times now. Report it.

I suspect it will occur more as more women of reproductive age are vaccinated.

It puts me off getting the vaccine considering I have had covid and I am fine. I also have a history of gynae issues.

I have attached screenshot of the pfzier and AZ reported menstrual issues. Obviously there has been no causal link yet.

I also have had the vaccine (AZ) and I am late too. Definitely no other reason.

God same! Got jabbed on Friday and am now three days late.

I had my vaccine middle of March, I completely missed a period. I was late this month again, but did come on VERY heavy this evening

Yes I am 37 and skipped a period for the first time ever (apart from pregnancies) after my vaccine. Didnt realise it was a thing, knew I wasnt pregnant and so had convinced myself it was all sorts of awful things! Next one came bang on time and all well since then.

Hi, did you start your periods after a week? I am now delayed too by a week. I have never been late and definitely not pregnant. I had bad stomach ache and nausea after the AstraZeneca 3 weeks ago. Any advice is helpful thank you

I had two weeks of bleeding mid-cycle! Are you meant to report side effects after a jab somewhere?

I had my 1st dose AZ mid February, 2 months on and no period... not pregnant and not aware of anything it could be and I’ve never missed a period other than pregnancies

Have you been to docs and have they said how they can fix this?

I have just reported it on MHRA. I can’t believe We are having this vaccine when it hasn’t been studied enough.

Some of us aren't and we are labelled anti vaxxers, conspiracy theorists and called stupid.

I've decided I'm not having my second dose of the astral zennica

Iv just been to my docs and he’s just mentioned to me I can ask for 2nd dose of Pfizer instead as I have had strong reactions to AstraZeneca. Might be worth speaking to your GP for those still waiting to have dose 2.

Has anyone that’s late started? I’m now 9 days late in pain but no sign of period. Please can someone respond that has been late? My anxiety levels are hitting the roof

So glad I’ve seen this thread as I am also a week late after having my Astra jab!! So glad I’m not the only one suffering!! All my usual P symptoms but nothing! I’ve even done 3 Ptest so far (all negative) and praying for it to appear any day now!!

I'm 8 days late, not had sex for 9 yrs so it must be the jab.

Yes it seems all vaccines can effect periods mine was late and hideously awful.

I was 2 weeks late after I got covid ( mildly). But on time after my AZ jab, even though the side effects from my jab were basically the same symptoms I got from covid but much less.
