Do you feel any different now you're three weeks past your vaccine ?

Do you somehow feel safer ? I feel like I can maybe stop wearing my visor. I looked pretty stupid anyway. But other than that, I will continue doing the same things.

@notrub do you feel good about yourself now ? Insulting strangers over the internet ? We were just talking, you've become very rude now. It's really unnecessary. Maybe you're having a bad day, but it's not really on to call people thick.

It's les than a week since I had mine but I feel so much more hopeful. DH is booked in for his too so I know that by the summer we will both be fully vaccinated, I know that doesn't mean 100% safe but it really feels good.

I have even booked a UK summer city break (fully refundable mind you I'm not crazy). It's really lifted my mental health.

@Woodandsky I'm seeing my family abroad this summer in Europe. No matter what!

Wow that will be amazing, I've definitely found that the last year has really shown me what's important in life and that is definitely friends and family, I can't believe how hard the lack of contact has been.

3 weeks after the vac I felt confident enough to go for a long overdue and much needed opticians appointment.
Still following all the rules though. I might be protected from hospitalisation and death but would prefer to avoid catching Covid at all. You can still be very ill with it even if not hospitalized.

I'm three weeks post vax tomorrow and may go inside a shop for the first time since last March Grin
