They have just said that the person attempted to register it online but it didn’t work, and that they are relatively confident they did isolate properly, so it doesn’t seem to merit prosecution

Great story but why are they telling us this? Is this different from how previous variants have been handled? We didn't get unmasking pop ups within the previous variants

Because theyre trying to big up Serco. Political.

That was my suspicion - well not that specific but that we were being prepared for something.

It was a fault with registering online.

They isolated and kept the bar code. They also came forward. I don't think by what was described they deliberately hid!

All they need to say is that the person has been found. Anything else is just patting themselves on the back.

I doubt it, they’re entitled to medical confidentiality. Why would he be prosecuted for not filling a form out correctly? I read he hadn’t travelled from abroad so doesn’t sound like it’s someone who has tried to dodge quarantine, etc. 🤷‍♀️

It took them over a week from the appeal....after the test came back on 14th Feb - and they were on a flight - so they had a flight list. I genuinely think the police could have found them in a couple of hours!

Completely irrelevant but in a thread when your suggesting unmasking someone it's quite funny your response was my sons name and where we live 😳🤣🤣🤔.

Aaaah, hadn't seen tonight's briefing, I'd assumed it was deliberate avoidance when querying whether they'd be prosecuted.

They should wheel him out on a press conference like he's on an episode of 'Stars in Their Eyes' "Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be the host of a new potentially deadly covid variant..."
