119 automated message says i think over 56/55 can now book

Worth having a try online if you are 55 or over

Ooh, interesting. Lots of 58s and 59s report being able to book this morning via website but lots of 56s say they can’t.

The website still says 'over 60', but I've text my dad to tell him to try anyway, so thank you. He's 60 next month.

I am 56 and have just managed to book mine for next week. DH is 54 and he wasn't able to.

Perhaps people are being added as we discuss.
Wouldn’t expect under 55 yet as a different group, but never hurts to check.

Fab. Apparently vaccine supplies expected to really rocket from 15th, so they are getting people booked in. Makes sense.

Most people don’t mind waiting 2 weeks and are just glad to know they have a date.

When I got booked I told loads of people and posted on the local town Facebook page and there has been a flurry of people in group 8 who have all managed to book- thanks so much for the info- I looked at 10 pm last night and it said no- I wouldn't have thought to try again so soon! Love the power of Mumsnet!
