Just what the title says...

I had a text from a friend of mine today to say she'd been offered a vaccine today at a local centre - txt from GP.

She's a year younger than me (46) and neither myself or over 50 DH have been offered it. Nor a 57 YO friend of mine who's been working in a local nursery throughout.

She has no idea why she was offered it, but took it up as she's a trainee teacher and a bit nervous about the return on Monday. I'm not too bothered as we've decided to postpone our overseas holiday this year and neither of us are particularly high risk. And the main thing is that they're moving through everyone quickly. Bit odd, though.

So I have 2 siblings aged 60 and 58. I put their details in. For the older one, computer says no, but the younger one can book. Makes no sense.... unless cohorts are being added at different rates in different parts of the country.

May or June would be my guess for the 30s.

Id call 119 as the 60yo one should have been able to book by now

My 39 year old DH has his today. He has very mild asthma that only needs an inhaler occasionally. I'm hoping it means they are getting through people very quickly.

I am just 30, no underlying conditions, not a health/care worker, and the calculator says May! That so close. I would be delighted.

EasterIssland · 06/03/2021 09:14

Im getting end of April / may for myself in the calculator (36)
And husband is April (43)

Which is more or less what I’m expecting seeing how quick they’re rolling out the groups

We live in Bristol and seems rhe roll out is going fast in here

Unmellow, remember 56+ can now book on national website...no need to wait for a letter or invitation, just get on there and do it.
