I can’t link from my phone. If you put “teacher 333% covid” into google the results come up. I believe the tes got the statistic from the DfE publication back in December.
That figure is from data collected by the teachers union. It was from three councils apparently. Greenwich, Leeds and somewhere else I can't remember.

Anyway the councils themselves have case doubts on the data. Greenwich say they have no involvement at all and know idea where the union got the data. I think it was just teacher questionnaire or something can't remember.

The 333% figure was the result of FoIs to 3 of the London boroughs with some of the highest Covid infection rates. It is not proper stats and cannot be relied upon or used in the way it has.
