Having vaccine tomorrow, Ex-P sending horrible messages

Anon778833 · 25/02/2021 17:28

I’m having the vaccine tomorrow. After a lot of careful thought.

My ex-P won’t stop sending me messages about how anyone who has the vaccine will be ‘dead within 5 years’

He was going on about a trial involving ferrets or something and Bobby Kennedy Junior.

I wasn’t going to tell him but then I thought I should because I might be a bit unwell afterwards (we have a child).

25 emails and 63 text messages later I’m regretting it. His mum had it without telling him. I can see why.

I can see why he's your ex.

AnyFucker · 25/02/2021 17:29

I can see why he is an ex

Have you considered limiting his contact with you to email only and purely to arrange contact with the children ?

Jo99996 · 25/02/2021 17:30

Wow...if he is an ex, why is it bothering him so much?

TrufflyPig · 25/02/2021 17:30

He sounds like an idiot, can his mum look after your child if you do feel unwell? She sounds a lot more sensible.

Boph · 25/02/2021 17:31

Er block his number?

Crappyfridays7 · 25/02/2021 17:33

Ignore him, tell him not to have it if he feels like that & to let you make decisions for yourself. He sounds a bit of a tool tbh

Lbnc2021 · 25/02/2021 17:34

Never mind you maybe not feeling well tomorrow, he sounds unwell full stop.

Anon778833 · 25/02/2021 17:34

If I’m unwell I do have support around me, I’m not afraid about that. He’s not rational and I’m finding it hard to deal with.

'Your mum had the vaccine without telling you, I can see why now. What a massive, massive steaming bellend you are.'

Obviously you probably won't-!!

Anon778833 · 25/02/2021 17:35

I blocked his number so he started emailing. I can’t block the emails.

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 25/02/2021 17:36

Just ignore him. The more you react, the more attention he gets.

Just Grey Rock him

TrufflyPig · 25/02/2021 17:37

Is it just this conspiracy he's into or has he generally lost his grip on reality?

As horrible as they are I would keep the messages in case his behaviour escalates and you need evidence in a custody dispute.

Mindymomo · 25/02/2021 17:37

So sorry for your idiotic ex, is he just jealous. Don’t bother opening emails. Sounds like a lovely fellow.

LemonadeBudget · 25/02/2021 17:37

God who could be arsed with that.

Delete and ignore.

TrufflyPig · 25/02/2021 17:38

In case*

lurker101 · 25/02/2021 17:39

He’s taking his advice from Bobby Kennedy Jr, who is no longer trusted to have an Instagram account for spreading false claims about the vaccine! You are absolutely correct to ignore him, and only communicate where necessary related to your child.

Nellie850 · 25/02/2021 17:40

I can see why he is your ex. Take no notice of the fool!

MistakenAgain · 25/02/2021 17:42

Set up an auto rule so the emails go into a separate folder entitled as you wish!

partyatthepalace · 25/02/2021 17:42

At least he’s your ex..

I’d block him for a couple days - he can text in an emergency.

Changethetoner · 25/02/2021 17:43

You could set your emails to move his into a separate inbox like spam, so you don't automatically see them.

Unanananana · 25/02/2021 17:44

He sounds batshit. He is your ex. Just ignore him!

InTheKitchenAtParties · 25/02/2021 17:46

25 emails and 60+ texts??? Fuckin hell, he is seriously unwell. Does he usually pester and harass you op?

FishWithoutABike · 25/02/2021 17:51

Wow at least you definitely have no regrets about that relationship ending. Covid can kill you and can have serious side affects even if you aren’t critically ill. The vaccine is thought by the best scientists in the world to be extremely safe. I know what I’d rather have.

RandomMess · 25/02/2021 17:52

Do you let him see your DC? I would seriously reconsider that as he is clearly irrational and not well to be sending that volume of abuse.

frozendaisy · 25/02/2021 17:55

Ok lesson learnt.

Don't tell him anything else!
