I've been exercising, reluctantly.
But now spring is here and the end is in sight. I'm going to up exercise and get a grip on my bored snacking so that when summer arrives I feel great and full of energy, and all my summer clothes fit. I can do this, I've done it before.

I’ve downloaded Noom for some accountability. Having such a massive and significant target (life coming back!) is making me feel very motivated.

Day two of calorie counting and a plan is emerging. Calorie counting and aiming for less than 1500. Running every morning and trying to increase speed and distance slowly.
I need some sort of beginners plates, but I want stretches as well as crunches. I've not managed to find anything I like so far, agmy recommendations? Short and relatively easy please!

Yesterday I did a 45 minute yoga class in the morning and then walked 4 miles in the afternoon.

This morning I walked 5 miles.

Currently trying to work out how to switch up my WFH routine a bit to make more time for exercise. I think I'm going to try starting work slightly later and exercising in the morning before I start. It should be slightly easier now the mornings are getting lighter.

I do intermittent fasting (16:8) works perfectly for me as I don’t eat breakfast anyway... it usually ends up being more 18:6 as we eat early with the children. I aim for 1200 cals a day with a one or two ‘naughty’ days a week. I’ve been losing a consistent 1lb a week, and feel a lot less bulky around my middle.

I’m not very active, possibly 6k steps about 5 days a week and 10k twice a week

Can I join please? I have the opposite issue though - anxiety knots in my stomach mean I have no appetite and have dropped weight at a scary rate - I look very scrawny and I hate it. It makes me look old.
Got some weight gain shake things and really going to try and get out for a walk every day.... ten mins of yoga and then when I feel strong enough, some strengthening exercises.
I’m also drinking too much, not sleeping enough and started smoking again Sad
Mildly disgusted with myself

I would recommend. NHS couch to 5k, The body project workouts on YouTube & Bodyfit by Amy.

Brisk walks, since getting a fitbit it's surprised me how many calories you can burn taking an hours walk, well worth doing. Especially if you've got kids scooting off ahead and you're trying to keep up.
