Simply, ENOUGH.

Feel free to fill in the missing words.

@Beccatheboo

Enough of the inability of a faction of Mumsnet users to allow people to express themselves without an immediate repost. (I do understand the hypocrisy of this post.) But people are struggling and they are not allowed to say that they have simply had enough.
Enough of people thinking they have a right to expect a public forum to be their own personal echo chamber.
RedcurrantPuff · 17/02/2021 10:22

Enough of Nicola bloody Sturgeon and her daily briefings where she just repeats the same pish every day as there’s nothing new

Enough of SAGE who seem to have eleventy billion members, not one with anything positive to say ever, and who get given a lot of airtime despite not actually being elected by anyone.

unmarkedbythat · 17/02/2021 10:23

ENOUGH of the overly dramatic tabloid headline style posting on here.

Beccatheboo · 17/02/2021 10:23

@BogRollBOGOF

^ Enough with suspending life indefinitely.^

Wholeheartedly agree.

Isn't 'enough' a really weird word?GrinConfused

GetOffYourHighHorse · 17/02/2021 10:24

Jesus are people really going to keep bleating 'enough'.

Is this the much discussed rebellion some mumsnstters have been getting their pitchforks ready for?

Look, make yourselves a cup of tea and pop This Morning on. It has been a pandemic you see, and only now are numbers manageable. Needs to be sustainable though, so you might need to try some meditation or yoga instead of barking 'enough' repeatedly.

AlwaysLatte · 17/02/2021 10:24

Enough wine. Wait, no not nearly enough wine...

recluse · 17/02/2021 10:25

@IEat

Enough of not having anything to talk about except yes my weekend was nice I stayed in and watched the telly, what did you do? You stayed in too, that’s nice
Grin so true - all my conversations go exactly like that
DameFanny · 17/02/2021 10:26

@judgingcat

Enough of blaming covid for dying when it's cancer, mental health, etc killing people first!
Enough of this fact-free incendiary bollocks

Sorry, you lost me at “pop This Morning on” Grin

snowydaysandholidays · 17/02/2021 10:28

ENOUGH with India.

I am insanely envious, but equally happy for them - India seem to have 'beaten' covid. Having let it rip through the country with three failed lockdowns, it appears they have in fact reached herd immunity with their youthful and strong population with great immune systems. Scientists are now investigating India to see how this miracle has come about...we are still locked down going madder with every passing day and India is now motoring along happily with covid behind them.

Maybe there is something to be said for the Swedish model after all.

amusedtodeath1 · 17/02/2021 10:28

Enough of people making a drama out of a crisis.

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 17/02/2021 10:28

@Maverickess

Enough of shouting each other down and dismissing another opinion while simultaneously complaining yours is being dismissed.

Enough of one side screeching 'Granny killer' and the other side screeching 'Lockdown lover'

Enough of their being no middle ground.

Enough of thinking that whichever route was taken, however this was handled, everyone wouldn't have been affected anyway, with something as big as this, it would be a very lucky person to not be affected at all by it.

Not enough of this.
ssd · 17/02/2021 10:29

Enough of people who should know better voting for the Tories.

Moonface123 · 17/02/2021 10:29

Enough of the "fuck off and let me wallow in my own misery" brigade.when others so kin fly offer advice.
People who are greatful have deep peace of mind.

Enough of thinking that people should be finding positive things to say in a scientific briefing

I mean WTF?

And enough of saying things like "given a lot of airtime despite not actually being elected by anyone"

That's a double WTF because I can't even work out where you're going there. Is it that you don't like experts? Do you think Johnson is worth listening to because he was elected? I mean, what on earth are you thinking?

TSSDNCOP · 17/02/2021 10:30

There are not ENOUGH days in the world in which I’d tire of punching Matt Hancock in the face.

@Beccatheboo

RMRM - enough of the condescension and moral highground.
Right back at you and the well orchestrated hive
DameFanny · 17/02/2021 10:31

@cocopops

Enough of society thinking a) society can “control” a virus and b) only people with COVID matter when determining what mitigation policy the country should follow.
Enough of spectacularly missing the point with statements like "only people with covid matter"
BogRollBOGOF · 17/02/2021 10:31

@DarcyJack

Enough of more uk citizens dying each year from covid than died each year in combat in ww2. Enough of nearly 3x as many dying in the UK of covid as died in the Blitz
You do realise that the UK population has grown by over 20 million people since 1945? That average life expectancy immediatelty post war was 65-70, not 82. In 2019, there were 530, 841 deaths. (The question is how many excess deaths there are beyond the normal range, particularly as deaths from common illnesses such as flu and norovirus have been significantly below normal) That the Blitz is an 8 month window affecting London and some other strategically significant cities, and was based on bombing areas of strategic value such as the East End (although residential and industrial areas were far less segragated then with many living within walking distance of work, hence relatively high casualty rate) rather than chucking bombs around for the sake of it.

It is an entirely pointless comparison.

Moonface123 · 17/02/2021 10:31

Grateful.
Anyone who is willing to help themselves should read "Awareness" by Anthony De Mellor.
Life changing book.

Enough of slagging mothers off for daring to work or daring not to work.

WhirlingGerbil · 17/02/2021 10:32

Enough of the 2 metre rule. Let's make it 4. Then you might actually be able to queue at Tescos without someone breathing down your neck.

poppycat10 · 17/02/2021 10:32

Oh sorry it in the covid topic, I thought it was AIBU! Oh well in that case enough of the coronastasi moaning about people driving for exercise.
