Simply, ENOUGH.

Feel free to fill in the missing words.

Enough of the 100s of threads of misery Olympics. Make one mega misery thread and go there for all of your 'venting' needs.

Daisysflowers · 17/02/2021 10:12

Enough of all this, open everything up now!

LucilleTheVampireBat · 17/02/2021 10:12

Accurate, unfortunately. I wish it wasn't the case. But facts is facts

Go ahead and report

I don't report posts. It is useful for people to see these kinds of comments and what kind of person they are responding to.

And no, it isn't accurate or factual in the slightest. An "attitude" can't contribute to the spread of a virus. Save your piss-poor attempts at castigating and demonising people for wanting to do their jobs, earn money, see their families and leave their homes.

Butterybiscuitbase12 · 17/02/2021 10:13

Oh and enough to patronising virtue signallers who assume that because you don’t agree with the situation that you don’t understand it.

snowydaysandholidays · 17/02/2021 10:14

ENOUGH of bear Grylls sister and swimming - so fucking what, lots of people swim outside in the winter?! Not exactly worthy of a prime slot on every news channel. Nauseating attention seeking I can not stand.

@ TheCatThatGotTheCream

Enough of people not sticking to the rules and doing their bit to help get rid of this bloody virus asap. Damn them for prolonging it.

Enough of that talk. Most people have been following the rules and there is still no end to the crap.“

The end is in sight now though. Two months before all 9 priority groups are vaccinated. That’s an incredible achievement. Things will change drastically thereafter.

Enough is a weird looking word isn't it?

BogRollBOGOF · 17/02/2021 10:15

Enough of the mud.

Enough of ignoring that about 30-40% of transmission is within carehomes and hospitals. (Hopefully being managed better with the vaccines being distributed now)

Enough of censoring alternative views. Especially when the media is in max-spin mode depending on what the government are grooming us to do for the next week. Expect bad news on Friday because the weather forecast is looking good for the weekend so we need to be terrified into submission again.

Enough of focusing on petty elements of the rules (Is it local? Are they in a bubble?) Viral spread is about contact between people, particularly in enclosed spaces with limited ventilation. It doesn't make a jot of difference if someone has driven 10 miles and is only in contact with their household, or someone is breaking an arbitary rule such as having a couple of surplus children playing outdoors together.

Enough with suspending life indefinitely. Children still grow up (literally and need new clothes and shoes), older relatives still age, accelerated by lack of mental and physical stimulation. We need education, company and more to do than trudge around a muddy park because there's been nothing else allowed for the past 4+ months.

Enough with gloomy predictions presented as unequivocal fact that we won't be normal until 2025.

RedcurrantPuff · 17/02/2021 10:15

Enough of other people’s health and the pressures on the NHS being expected to be my problem.

toolatetooearly · 17/02/2021 10:16

Enuff Z'nuff, underrated 80s hair metal band.

(this thread is fun!)

WitchesBritchesPumpkinPants · 17/02/2021 10:16

@intheenddoesitreallymatter

Enough of me dressing and looking like a tramp!

I binned 90% of my lounge wear today and put jeans and a bit of makeup on. I hate to blow my own trumpet but I looked red carpet ready ;)

You'll be sneaking it out of the bag by 6pm 🤣🤣

Good on you got feeling good!

Enough of other people’s health and the pressures on the NHS being expected to be my problem“

It will be your problem though, if you fall ill and need hospital treatment and there’s no bed. Isn’t that the point of it all?

Other people’s health? Do you take a magic elixir that protects you? (That sounds sarky, it’s not: unless you have some magic solution you have no idea what might befall you this morning).

Anniegetyourgun · 17/02/2021 10:18

Enough of certain political groups publishing threads like this all over social media, trying to encourage everyone to revolt and ignore safeguards RIGHT NOW. Enough of posters who I suspect are not suffering one little bit, pretending to be, in order to get genuinely suffering people (and I'm sure there are many) riled up towards the revolution or whatever it is they have in mind (a non-violent mini-revolutionette?).

It should only be a very few months now, maybe only two or three, before enough of the population are vaccinated to make it safe to do those things we are all longing to do. (Visit my grandchildren and get a haircut, in that order, for my part.) Lifting the restrictions too soon and too drastically will put us back to square 1, just like it did last June when the government were actually paying people to go out and socialise Confused. It's been said before but "the economy or the pandemic" is not an either-or choice. The economy will be badly impacted if a lot of workers are off sick or dead too.

But then if you think it's all made up because the government actually wants us cowering indoors instead of out there working, earning and paying them taxes, there's nothing I can say that will make a difference. No doubt the same people who think speed cameras on motorways and double yellow lines around corners are installed to catch people out and make money. Hmm

everybodysang · 17/02/2021 10:18

enough petty sniping and selfishness. Enough stupidity and lack of comprehension.

I wish.

frasersmummy · 17/02/2021 10:18

"It's attitudes like yours that have contributed to 118k deaths, unfortunately*

Enough with comments like this.apportioning blame.

Blue1316 · 17/02/2021 10:20

Enough of people diagnosing themselves with long Covid (only on here don’t know anyone in real life). Many of whom have said they had the virus early last year, therefore were never actually tested for Covid yet are more than happy to attribute any ongoing symptoms to long Covid and there can’t possibly be anything else wrong with them because it’s all about Covid!
Wonder how many other illnesses are simply labelled as long Covid without any investigation whatsoever.

thedancingbear · 17/02/2021 10:20

Happy for my post to stand. An attitude can contribute to the spread of a virus, if the person holding that attitude acts differently because it, or if other people change their behaviour because they are persuaded by it. This is pretty simple. And that virus kills people. Very many thousands of them.

These are the facts of the situation. God I wish they were different. I wish PPs' nonsensical, baseless beliefs were consequence-free. But they ain't.

cocopops · 17/02/2021 10:20

Enough of society thinking a) society can “control” a virus and b) only people with COVID matter when determining what mitigation policy the country should follow.

Makingnumber2 · 17/02/2021 10:20

Enough of people like @MrsArchchancellorRidcully making spurious and untrue claims about teaching unions because they're too lazy to actually look at what they're asking for. Here you are- did the work for you: neu.org.uk/recovery-plan
