People cant top up their pre payment meters. The app has been down for ten days. There are ppl on their fb page who are saying their electric has gone off. Not on in usual times but in a pandemic?? This is the 2020s FFS. We top up ours with a key but it didnt work so they are sending out a new one, but after telling us to go to the corner shop and get a key after giving us a code. And to ring Eon from the shop and pass the mobile phone to the shop assistant so they can talk him/her through it. Yep Great advice in a pandemic EON. Sharing mobiles. We are okay for a little while because we have kept topping up when possible as advised to do so last March. But the time they are taking to sort their shit out is worrying. Other families and disabled ppl have lost electric. Not good enough.
