I would say
A time where I went to the shop with my mask in my pocket but forgot to put it on.

OP posts:
Happytentoes · 09/01/2021 21:25

I bought a hairdressing kit in the mistaken belief I could cut my own hair 😱

Treestilltwinklinghere · 09/01/2021 21:26

Trusting our council to make some effort. Lockdown here and carparks still bloody open.

MushMonster · 09/01/2021 21:26

Walking out of a gym room into the corridors without the mask on.
I did not realised I did not have it on till I made it to reception and spotted some other people with it on!

Mogwaimug · 09/01/2021 21:27

I accidentally dyed my hair pink. Then decided to cut it myself. Never again.

What I did right was finally realise my job was the root of all evil in my life, so found another one.

CarlottaValdez · 09/01/2021 21:27

I was too cautious over the summer, wish I’d gone on holiday while I could.

MushMonster · 09/01/2021 21:28

Oh the hair bit.... yes, I asked my daughter to cut it. Ket's say it is shorter than I wanted it!

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 09/01/2021 21:30

Not visiting my parents when I could. Seen them once since March

Punkylaroux · 09/01/2021 21:30

Decided I was qualified to cut DP hair...forgot to put the guard on the razor and left a lovely bald patch right up the back of his hair...

Crakeandoryx · 09/01/2021 21:35

Should have taken more time as special leave during the first wave to help with homeschooling. It's not available this time and I'm completely exhausted before throwing in homeschooling.

MandosHatHair · 09/01/2021 21:35

In the early days I inwardly was annoyed at my nieghbour for not warning us before he started to paint the fence and therefore getting within 2 metres of the boundary Blush I gave my head a wobble and got over it pretty quickly Grin

Sparklingbrook · 09/01/2021 21:35

Reading some of the threads on here. Grin

GloryHunter · 09/01/2021 21:36

I let my husband cut my hair…

StrugglingICUnurse · 09/01/2021 21:41

Forgetting to calculate the oxygen consumption in the ward....

CloseSchoolsProtecttheNHS · 09/01/2021 21:44

Cutting my own hair was a big mistake.

I also should have gone to the dentist and optician in the summer when things were better but I was still too nervous and now goodness knows when I'll get the chance.

GrapefruitGin · 09/01/2021 21:46

Cutting myself and fringe!
At least I wasn’t/am not going anywhere for anyone to see Blush

GrapefruitGin · 09/01/2021 21:46

Cutting myself a fringe*
Sorry for the poor typo.

Delatron · 09/01/2021 21:48

Revisiting SunIn....
Cue orange hair a la the 90s

cormorantes · 09/01/2021 21:48

Thinking it would be over by the new year

cookiesncurls · 09/01/2021 21:50

Getting way too into baking and cooking! I put on a good 10kg Blush

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 09/01/2021 21:52

Getting pregnant. Wasn't in position to have another baby. Have had a horrible pregnancy. Due in 2 weeks and terrified of being in labour and getting pnd again, especially in lockdown, trapped in the house trying to home school a reluctant pre teen and a very active 7 year old. Also being self employed, I only get MA which isn't much at all and didn't have much time to save. DPBwill have to work all the hours he can to make up money so will be pretty alone.
I am excited about having a little baby again, and my first girl, but it will definitely be the last, and has screwed up my plans for the next few years.

Tyranttoddler · 09/01/2021 21:54

I agree with being too cautious in the summer. I wish I had done more.

Me too. Over a year now. Sad
PhyllisAndLucille · 09/01/2021 21:58

In Feb we flew out to Europe and almost got stuck there when it was declared a pandemic and our flights home to Oz we cancelled twice.

During stage4lockdown I cut my hair off following a few youtube vids and a wikihow to layer hair..and got addicted to going shorter and shorter-it looked ok tho but at the time it was a VIC winter and about5' which has meant after we moved to up QLD where it is HOTHOTHOT my hair is now too long for me to stay cool and not long enough to tie up. I resort to a couple of awful looking stubby ponytails whilst getting really sweaty at the gym..urgh=big mistake

UpMySt · 09/01/2021 21:58

I tried cutting my dc's fringe when it was wet and of course when it dried it was shorter and it sprung up. dc had a mullet with a really short fringe 😳

HedgieHog · 09/01/2021 22:01

Regret not using it as a time to diet after seeing loads of people showing off how much they lost
